I`ve been drinking at The Globe Inn for 1 years.
You can lead a horse to water!
But sometimes it'll walk straight past and make for the bar instead! That's what Sparky the Shetland Pony is doing at Arkell's riverside pub The Globe Inn at Sandhurst near Gloucester.
Sparky has been part of the family for fifteen months, but only discovered his liking for a pint of 3Bs when the Landlord brought him closer to the pub because the grass was better!
According to John Baldwin, chef and father to landlady Sarah Reeves: "He just started drinking someone's leftover beer. Then it happened again a few days later and we discovered his passion." But Sparky has to watch it - because if he drinks too much he goes glassy-eyed, according to John.
