Jessop House , a Grade II listed building, and once part of the old Grammar School, is undisputedly one of Tewkesbury's finest early 18th century town houses.
A pleasing example of early Georgian provincial architecture, its restrained facade conceals a spacious, carefully renovated hotel of great charm, with every modern comfort provided.
The views from the bedrooms include Tewkesbury Abbey, mediaeval cottages, the Baptist Chapel, "The Ham", between the rivers Severn and Avon, and the Cotswolds hills in the distance.

The rooms have retained almost all their original features: the Georgian Room still has its original moulding, the main staircase is considered one of the finest in town and the 18th century tiles in the fireplace of The Delft Room are almost intact. |
