Situated only a few miles from Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, the Ferrie Inne is ideally located for touring . The Forest of Dean is on our doorstep, and Chepstow, Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within an hours drive.

Natural Beauty
Symonds Yat is a designated area of natural beauty and its stunning scenery has been attracting visitors here for over 100 years. The river Wye offers a great wealth of activities including white water canoeing and rafting. Other sports include abseiling , windsurfing and orienteering.
Salmon Fishing
The river is known as one of Britains greatest stretches for salmon fishing. Course fishing permits are available free of charge to residents of the Ferrie Inne. Golfing, Pony Trekking and Hot Air Ballooning are all available locally. We offer cycle hire from the Ye olde Ferrie Inne if you want to explore the countryside by bike.
